Live closer to the city in the rush hour it could still take nearly an hour plus parking is $10 early bird all day. Train is $161 per month for zones 1+2 Adult or $80 for a consession. Petrol $1.50 per ltr and the second hand car market is more expensive than uk, you will be looking at $4,000 for something that runs well. Good Luck!
