If your OH is teaching secondary maths or science, things may be easier as they are subjects in demand.

Hope this helps

Good luck!
Thanks Wll
OH is teaching science as he has chemistry degree. The reason I asked the question was I'm aware that the cut off age for immigation is 45, am I right???? Well, Im 40 and the longer we wait for OH to get experience the less likley we will end up in Oz!!
I've been reading a few of the threads and some other sitesand is seems quite hard to land a job before you leave England, if you want to go to say the "nice areas" like Perth. But, if you want to teach in the more rural areas it's quite easy.I am really quiet apprehensive about leaving UK without OH having work!!! Has anyone got any experience of what processes we need to go through, or any teaching agencies that help you before you leave?
My sister leaves on the 13th October to start life in Perth as a nurse. An agency got her the job, the hospital called her from Perth and everything was sorted from here in UK. HOW NICE!!! Does this happen with teaching, I haven't heard any stories yet???? HELP
