Derek Acorah is my sons best friends grandad and I have met him a few times and he is a lovely fella. The way he is on stage is all a stage persona!!
I have seen him in the Liverpool Empire and Southport Theatre and both times he was spot on with what he had to say.
I have never believed in it all and the only reason I went was cos I got free tickets but was pleasantly surprised when i went to see him.

Im sure he is a lovely guy, however he has been proven too many time to be a fraud, its been also proven that he has plants in the audience as well as before hand finding out whats what when doing programmes such as most haunted.
Im a member of a paranormal investigation team, and have been on loads of investiagtions, and believe me its nothing like most haunted, other than some of the equipment we use, and the mediums certainley dont get possesed like good ole derek does. His is pureley a stage act, entertaining it is, but I just wouldnt believe anything he said.
This just goes back to what Earlswood said, there are some frauds out there,
However this is purely my personal opinion of the guy, Im sure there areplent of people out there who think he is great and thats fine.
