It is a hard life anywhere in the world if you have to work, you can eat healty and be healty in any Country you choice to live ....Oz will not suddenly make you fitter or eat better  Oz loves fast food and the notion people get that Australians are healthier or fitter than Brits will soon be turned when you get here.

You know Earlswood I have read alot of your posts and despite their negativity it is understandable why you are this way cos you're really not very happy in OZ, that is plain for all to see but I'd put money on it that one day ... maybe along time from now ... different circumstances, different perspective on life ...... I reckon you'll be back!
Good luck to all those trying to sell their houses, all sound gorgeous and if we weren't heading that way ourselves would be tempted also.
