Ok, we have

STEP 1 -admit the problem
STEP 2 - Always have PIO in your favourite places
STEP 3- Tell your OH it's all in the name of research (if you're UK based) and Tell your OH it's about 'giving something back' (if you're in Aus)
STEP 4 - Leave it at least 10 mins before clicking the "refresh" button (just in case you've missed any new posts!)
STEP 5 - associate with other PIO`ers. A problem shared and all that.......
