hi L
thanks for reply, I have uncle(late 60's) in perth but not spoken to him for about 7 years although my mum and dad still keep contact. we are going to essex meet in june and have told kieran but all he asked for was if there was a footie goal! He does already belong to a club over here so he has all he needs according to him. I know what you mean about things hitting home though, there are many threads on here that make me blub. My situ is rather difficult anyway as gonna have to take boys dad to court to try and get court order allowing us to go, also my family don't want us to go and are trying to make plans for the near future with us to try and get our minds off this silly australia thing. I am just worried it will all be too much to bear when it comes to boys saying goodbyes and the eldest changing his mind (he is saying at the mo' that he would give it a go) You are very lucky to be going soon for a month, just wish we could to let the boys see what they could have(we never even been and can't afford reccie)might help them along. You must let me know how you get on and i am sure your boy will love it. Can i ask how often do you think your boy will see his dad once you have emmigrated and how you will go about it? so many questions i will have to answer in court!!
thanks, jane
