they do split payments,so ya can pay it over the 1st yr.but just ask in case im wrong and i have't been to tafe in while?!!!!!
i'll be working in a salon in june that is just opening and i'll be on $17hr approx 36hrs before tax = approx $600.
just a word of warning that h/dressing is very bitchy and ya are required to do thurs night and sat's and some or all sunday if the salon is open. if ya have children,as im not sure how old ya are!(ha ha ha ) ya may have better luck getting them off as they are more important.
some bosses are great and some salons but it is just luck with that!
i gave up hairdressing for a bit cause my heart was not in it and i was missing it heaps and this is my first job back since giving it up. my point is once ya learn it ya don't forget it, but one thing ya need to do is keep up with the trends! ya prob thinking but peoples hair styles don't change much? and ya right it's just the industry the thinks that unless ya work in a classey salon. one that the customers are bout the hair(ha ha ha ) all bout image and style
i enjoy doing all the new stuff but not every day.
