Hi,
Im in the construction industry as well. Engineers Australia assessed my qualifications and graded me as a Civil Engineer Technologist. If you dont have a qualification from a recognised college/university you can submit a CDR (Competency Demonstration Report) to prove you have the relevant experience. There are 3 levels of Engineer.
