Good luck for your future life in Oz, it's a great time, you will find things strange at first like we all did, settling in, buying things you need, but in general you will find people very helpful.
It's a marvellous country and the thing I did when I arrived was this......I call Australia home, people say to me "Have you been home lately" and I say "Yes I go home every night", I can say with hand on heart that I never suffered with home sickness, so I cannot empathise with anyone who has, my home is where my family are, my family are my Husband and Daughter, the UK is where my extended family live and I will get to catch up with them in a couple of weeks time which will be lovely I am sure, but I know I will be itching to get back home again.
Once again, good luck with your move, hope all goes well and enjoy everyday.
