We are in Tasmania and it has seasons . We clay shoot not game although we could if we wanted to. the gun clubs over here are very welcoming and easy to fit in. We brought our guns with us and it wasnt too much hassle in fact it was easier than the motorbikes!! Fishing is good both game and sea. Super trout rivers and easy to get fishing on them. Things are quite laid back over here and we have had very few problems . We came over 18 months ago on a 163 business visa and have never regreted it.Tasmania is the most affordable state in regard to housing and there are some stunning properties with land which are reasonable in price although I must say in the last 2 years they are going up in price. Schools are good and there is a very low crime rate. Although we are an island and many say very like New Zealand in some ways. we have many of the mainland shops and more are coming It does get chilly in the Winter but at least it is not too hot in the Summer and it isnt a case of where is the next air con? We dont get that much rain and at the moment we would welcome some.
Tasmania is a beautiful place , people are friendly . there is a shortage of skilled trades people . Check out the web site T-change - for your sea change or tree change to Tasmania and also contact Joanna Jacobs she is the relocation officer for the Tasmanian goverment good luck and if I can be on any help then just let me know
