Just wanted to welcome you to the PIO site, a wonderful place to start your journey to Oz!
First thing I would recommend you do is chat to a few agents to make sure you will be eligible to emigrate and meet the strict criteria required, most of them offer a free 10-15 chat over the phone; there are several recommended ones on here, Go Matilda, Visa Bureau, Ian Harrop to name a few.
As regards the seasons in Oz, Im no expert but I believe that areas further south, such as Adelaide are more temperate climates than other parts of Oz, where it can get particularly hot and/or humid. Again, there will be plenty of people on here to give advice on the extremes of climes that Oz can offer!
