HELP! Have finally decided today that we're going to take the plunge. We (myself, husband, 2 kids and 2 dogs + other family members!) were looking at New Zealand to start, however, my parents are pretty much at retirement age and I'd have to wait 3 years before they could come out (so I've been advised!) Anyhow. I'm now looking to Australia, but have no idea where to start. We kinda liked New Zealand as it apparently still has 'seasons' which my husband likes, he's into game shooting and fishing. Can anyone please help on advising which areas may be suitable. I like the sea, he likes the rural! I know this is a big ask and everyone will have their own opinion of areas but any advice would be much appreciated. He's been running a building firm for a god few yeasr now but is an Electrician by trade, can anyone foresee any problems with points? Sorry, I know I've gone on a bit, but starting to get excitied now.
