We had a look at the IELTS website for some examples and it did not help. It seems very unfair that his trade is in demand in Oz and we are born and bred English citizens but for the sake of 5 points we may not get to live our dream!
Anyone any ideas around this I would love to hear from them.

you only need to score 7 points on the test and part of this is an oral exam. if you are born and bred in england will it really be that hard to sit an english language test? it is quite a basic test. you do a listening test and fill in the correct answer, a reading test and answer the questions on the text and a piece of writing. most of the people i sat with were from all over the world with many different languages and they agreed it was not so hard. you def should give it a go. good luck!!
