You should watch the 'Dog Whisperer' on foxtel Bio and see what to do with him now so he settles in well. Take him on a long walk (by Lead) and then don't make too much of a fuss of him, let him wander about and sniff things out. As much as you want to kiss the gob off him, DON'T, if he is feeling anxious and starts with the separation anxiety it will only feed it for him, wait till he is really quiet and relaxed and then stroke him. I have been watching this programme all year and found out all the things I did wrong with my dog and now wish I could fix, but unfortunately she passed away last year, within a short period he should be back to his normal self.
