This was our single biggest mistake, I'm sorry to say. If we'd been more realistic, I'm sure it probably would have sold by now. We went with the highest valuation of 230k and around the same time, other houses went up around us about 10k less. Not a lot you might think, and the other houses were not as high spec as ours, but they were all sold months ago before the market went bosoms up! We are now stuck with this great white elephant of a house. Been to see the EA today and they suggested a price of 199k to try and get rid, and even then she didn't hold out much hope!!! How I wish we could rewind a year. Our dream house has turned into a sodding nightmare.
I'm off now to pour a glass of wine and try to forget about it for half an hour.
Now let's see whats on tele - "Property Ladder" and "Grand Designs" Great!!!
