Hi Nic
We didn't bring any furniture over apart from an oak cabinet! We have bought all new stuff and have found the things pretty cheap actually. You can get a lot of good quality wooden furniture and as Ali says there is Ikea if you like their stuff and most places have a few furniture, electrical shops nearby.
