It really is personal choice, I visited my brother in QLD - loved Australia and Brisbane but we decided WA would suit us better. Have you looked on seek.com for availability of jobs? There are so many nice areas of WA that would suit everyone depending on your needs - lots of new houses, lots of old houses, new estates and established suburbs. WA house prices are higher than QLD but it's reported that's slowing down, as QLD house prices are on the rise.
