Hope you dont mind but I had to post a reply as you are first person on here I have come across who's husband is in IT Security, just like mine. You are not far from us in Darlington either, we are near Northallerton.
Anyway, was wondering how your husband is getting on with the ACS??? and whether you are going alone with the application or appointed an agent???
I did live in melbourne about 7 years ago now, but I wouldn't want to recommend any suburbs as I was single and careful and didn't really care much about whether it was suitable for familes or what the schools were like. Wish I did pay more attention now.......
