I can remember going to work in London seeing minus 5.5 degrees on my car temp gage! And in winter in the UK, it is grey skies and lots of rain.. Here we mostly get blue skies and we are the second driest capital city in Australia.

Anyway, I love the seasons, but I do love the heat too.. But I lived in 40 degrees for four years also and it can get a bit boring!!

2 weeks today the Movers come & take our belongs away & send them to Hobart... And still haven't found a place to call home in Tassie yet... Starting to get a bit nervous now!!! But so looking forward to starting our new life there... Can you explain to people, in your official capacity, what your department can offer new migrants?

Hi Sally: I don't suppose you've seen a suitable, temporary home for a pair of well-behaved, domesticated bears???!! I can't believe OH has just 5 more days at work OMG!!!
