Hi PJW
I see what you are saying, and well done for doing it all yourselves, but for me, research is such a big part of the preparation for moving my family halfway across the world, and I really want it to work, so for me, it is 100% worth it to have the help of Judy at Home 2 Home - she has given us so much help, looked into accommodation and car hire options for us, sent us maps and details about suburbs, sent us schools prospectusses, found out about job possibilities and really just been our 'ear to the ground' in Adelaide. I am sure it is perfectly possible to do it all yourselves, but I have two young children and I know from this and other forums how much there is to get sorted out in the first few months - I would rather have less stress and be able to relax and enjoy my first few weeks in a new country with my family, rather than spend days and days driving around randomly with two bored kids in the car! For us, it is worth it, but obviously I can only speak for myself!
