Thanks everyone for your replies, it looks like south of the river is going to be the way forward for us. OH originally had a gut instinct that he would be posted at Joondallup so we had been looking at the areas around there (suffice to say, he won't be choosing this week's lotto numbers...lol!)

The search continues....
