Hello to everyone!

This is our first posting (its taken us all evening to work out how to post this!)

We just wanted to know how long it took other social workers and welfare workers to get their skills assessments processed by the AASW and the AIWCW. We are under a bit of a tight timescale because we need to lodge our visa application before June (my hubbies birthday because then we would lose 5 points and not meet the 120 points).

We applied to both AASW and AIWCW just in case. Applications were received on 18th Feb 2008. AASW have taken their fee from our bank but not acknowledged receipt or assigned a worker. AIWCW have acknowledged receipt but not taken their fee!

AIWCW have acknowledged receipt but not taken their fee! __________________ Tom (Social Worker), Julie (Social Worker), plus Two (age 2 and 8 months) 18th Feb 2008: AASW and AIWCW applications delivered 20th Feb 2008: IELTS results received - got 9!!!! 21st April 2008 : Positive skills assessment from AASW 9th May 2008: 175 paper application lodged
