Dear Acacia - sorry to hear you are having trouble finding new friends though I am sure there are others on this website who live in Mandurah. We are in Waikiki, 20 minutes north of Mandurah but as retirees probably not in the same age group as you. However, we have been to the last two meet ups in Perth and enjoyed them very much with Ali and Janette being particulary helpful and friendly. There are lots of others here in Secret Harbour, Port Kennedy, Warnbro who are not too far away from you, perhaps you could try and link up with some of them.
I have joined a centre which offers a large amount of activities - albeit for the over 55's! Do you have any interests or hobbies you could look at joining? I wish you luck - just hang in there, it will be worth it. We just love WA.
