My Aussie cousins can't believe it when we offer to get a taxi after a drinks session and they decide to drive home. I am told we don't get taxis here......this is the Gold Coast!? I know the saying "When in Australia.....". But I don't think I will be joining in on this one!

its quite common for construction workers to take 1 or 2 "roadies" for the journy home. I remember asking a brickie how long it took him to get home and he replied "about 3 stubbies"
