hi All,

We have two boys 14 & 13 at secondary school and a younger son and daughter 6 & 10, in primary education,and are currently scouring the Gold Coast area, looking via the internet , for suitable schools to go and look at hopefully early next year. We have looked at some websites but you can't really make an informed decision from that....Also, State or indipendent ? However he latter could be costly right ??

The Question is....Are there any schools & areas that we should think of checking out and any we should maybe steer clear of ??

We have been to the Gold Coast a couple of times in the past, last time was a fact finding mission in 2002, we looked at houses, cars and general food shopping but neglected to look at schools as it seemed to early in our planning...It is our intention to settle in the GC area, maybe upto 15K's in land or even a little more, if any one has any info for us it would be greatly appreciated.........
