Thanks for your reply. One quick question please (or actually two) When the first business plan failed how did you manage to find an income?

Unfortunately we are not going to have a little emergency pot, as this will be going on buying a house outright, so at least we wont have a mortgage to worry about but we will have nothing to fall back on.

Is there a certain amount you need to be turning over in that third year or basically do you just need to be able to support yourself?

I must say though you have calmed me down slightly.

Thanks.............Adele
Glad to hear I'm helping

We did come with a reasonable "emergency pot",It was the only way that I would come out.The business ventures did tend to cross over + I was not reeeaaalllyyy supposed to but I had a part time job

We had to meet the requirement of having an income producing business that turned over at least $100,000 AUD.Technically speaking we should have employed 3 people as well but that seemed to have been forgotten

I guess the figures are more now.

It was a very pressurized time for us but we thrive on challenge, also looking back we are very proud of what we have achieved.

As said in another post recently,we were firmly told we were given the opportunity to live and work here,it was not a right.

So we had to prove ourselves.

Having been through the process I don't think it is a bad one.
I can think of other countries with very easy processes
