Hi Deb.
Thanks for that info.
I am actually in Perth at the mo so experienced the heat over Xmas. It is much more pleasant today. I am staying with friends in Darch that emigrated 2 years ago.We have had a fantastic three weeks and go back next week on the 3rd.
The things that you say about agency work and the unpleasantness that you experience in some work places are just what I remember from my agency nursing days years ago.It makes me feel apprehensive when you don't know the policies and how things are done and where things are. It's fine if you become a regular though. I just thought that it may give me the opportunity to try out a couple of units prior to commiting myself. I called AAA agency today as they advertise on Seek.com but I will look into the ones that you have mentioned. I will probably only do it for a month or two...(assuming I can get a contract elsewhere) just until I find my feet. I suppose the alternative would be to call your manager and come up and have a look around and get a feel for the place. You certainly sell Joondalup well!
I am planning in my head to be back here by Christmas 2008.
Anymore advice is always welcome.
Many thanks
Judith
