Try if you can to speak to some employment agents - they do have access to decision makers and will put you forward for jobs that are often not advertised.

Good luck

You should never give in............... I have enough knock-back letters to paper a couple of rooms with................ and they are just the ones who had the decency to reply.

You all know our story how we were going round and round in circles ............ and going nowhere fast ............... except downhill quicktime. I have kept 2 Arch Lever Files full of knock back letters....... just as a stark reminder as to when times were really tough............ all of which is a distant memory now......... and all those who failed to lend a helping hand when they could have quite easily done so.......... well they can all kiss my backside............ we didn't need you after all!!! We got where we are on our own.

Perseverance is the name of the game.......... and believe it or not........ no matter how much we think we are hard done by........... there is always someone much worse off than us!!! My boys used to whinge about us not being able to afford Reebocks or shoes of that ilk at $300 a pop when they were at school and we used to be poor.......... I introduced them to an old mucker................. he has no legs after a landmine incident up in Vietnam......... they didn't whinge anymore after that and they have each volunteered to help same bloke out over the years from time to time,

When I couldn't find work.......... I stooped so low that I went on Radio 6PR here in Perth and I actually begged for a job.......... I didn't have much self esteem left you see......... that was my first time out of work ever.......... and i couldn't handle it. The listeners sent in money............. which i didn't want....... i wanted work....... but there wasn't much about in those days.

Good luck to all of you in your quest to get over here.............. don't give in!
