Midwives are in short supply like the UK and your wife will get a job anywhere. If you google hospitals in Western australia, you could apply to any of the hospitals directly. I guess if you know which area you want to live it would determine how far you'd want to travel to work. It's personal choice about an agent, certainly if you think your circumstances are complicated then yes the're worth their weight in gold, but your wife should easily get the 136 skilled visa as this will give you perm. residency. if you go via the sponsorship route you're tied to somewhere and if you don't like it can't move on.

It's been raining all week here in Perth!!
