Smile advice on moving to australia

hello everyone,my family and i are considering a move to oz and would greatly appreciate any advice you guys can offer us on this daunting/exciting undertaking. i am a 37 year old electrician from Middlesbrough, my wife is a teaching assistant at our local school and we have three daughters aged 15,2 and 7 months. we have started looking at different websites but there is just so much to take in and the best people to ask are the ones who have been through it already or are in the process of doing it! my parents are also considering moving, they are both retired. any advice would be of great help such as what type of visa would be best, where is the most popular place for Brits to go, what is the jobs situation, what is the education system like, what visa would my parents need what are the best web sites to visit, and is Australia the better standard of life that everyone thinks it is in cold old england! many many thanks,we look forward to reading any advice you can offer us.
best wishes, the craddy family.
