I wouldn't want to go to Melbourne as I have read a lot of stuff about it raining all the time and the weather being really similar to the UK. We want to go somewhere a lot warmer.

We also have relatives who live in WA but are travelling the whole of OZ at the moment.

I'd have to agree with Sarah... the weather plays an important part.... one of the reasons for us looking at perth in the first place was because of the sun..... i hate being stuck indoors when it's raining, and with 3 boys it's a nightmare.... so Perths weather swings it for me!
