 As long as you hold a full uk driving licence you do not have to take a test here in Oz. Just pop to your local RTA and have a pic taken fill in a form produce your uk licence and pay for a aussie licence ... a 1 or 5 year licence.
Just remember that when you are here driving in Oz that on public holidays and for a couple of days before and after Double demerits apply.
